Actually, I didn't hear anything offensive, and the music was quite nice. But then, out of all the bands playing I definitely would've avoided Steel Panther, whether it was Chive Fest or anywhere else. Because... why? It's just not my thing. I w...Linda, thank you again for your observations. I walked by about 4:40 pm and the f-word was already prominent in the lyrics. Kids were playing in the nearby playground. Parents were pushing kids in strollers around the lake outside the event's fence. Regardless of what anyone thinks about Park's and Rec's fee policy, this was the wrong venue for this event, and showed poor judgment by the event organizers and the City.
