I can't believe the bureaucratic vomit spewing from this man's mouth! I remember seeing the announcement in the Denver Post about this fantastic Poo Free company coming into Denver and I praised my Mayor for having the foresight to initiate a program that brings an amazing amenity to me and my neighbors...for FREE. I was wondering why I haven't seen anything go up in Wash Park (where I live). Now I know: politics. Just listen to him.... mumbling his way through some BS excuse. Typical politician wanna-be.
From what I read in the paper, this Patterson guy approved the project, then told the entrepreneur to spend money to get it started, then backs out at the last second, leaving him hanging out on his own. How the HELL did this guy ever get any kind of a job where his title included the word "Manager"?!?!?!
What concerns me is the message this is communicating to the business community. More proof that doing business in Denver is NOT welcome! Way to go guys.
