NEIGHBORHOOD LEADER VICTIMIZED

Friday night Dec 12, thieves broke into the home of Cole Neighborhood President Cynthia Wake.  The perpetrators broke the door, ransacked the house, trashed personal belongings, stole the TV, and other electronics.
The thieves even stole the presents from under the tree, as well as many personal family treasures.
Cynthia and her 11-year-old son were out for the night and her daughter was away at college.  Everyone is safe.
Cynthia works full time, goes to college, and is a single mother of two children.  Yet she is well-known for making time to always be helping others.
In addition to her neighborhood leadership, Cynthia is a graduate of the first class of the Emerge political training class in Colorado (http://www.emergeamerica.org/colorado).  She is also a Steward for the Communications Workers of America.
Her activities in Cole include organizing neighborhood events and collecting gifts for area children at Christmas.
A fund is set up – http://www.gofundme.com/CynthiaWake – to help Cynthia repair her life, replace the presents from under her tree and hopefully re-build a beautiful holiday season and a happy new year for her family.
