Come On Down!

Our newspapers and local TV may not be reporting much on our "under the radar" election coming up on May 1, and you may have to request a ballot if you are registered and didn't vote last Novemeber (you've been declared inactive! send that card in!), but the neighborhoods and the candidates are working hard to get the word out. There is no substitute for meeting these candidates in person. They want to meet you! Upcoming Candidate Forums April 2 - Monday - 7:00pm - 2401 Welton Street Curtis Park Neighbors will host a Candidates’ Forum at the Library April 5 - Thursday - 6:30pm - 3921 Holly Street Greater Park Hill Neighbors will host a Candidates’ Forum at the District 2 Police Station April 11 - Wednesday - 5:30pm – 1634 18th St The Downtown Denver Residents/LoDo Residents invite you to a Candidates’ Forum at the Wynkoop Brewery in the Mercantile Room. April 12 – Thursday - 6pm - Kaiser Franklin Street building (sw corner of 21st and Humboldt), Reimer Room in the basement. Sponsored by the Merchants at 22nd and Humboldt. (No canned questions!) April 14 – Saturday - 9:00am - 2900 Downing Street INC Candidate Forum at the Whittier Neighborhood Association’s Community Center at in Denver. April 19 – Thursday - 7:30am - Downtown location to be announced, Denver Downtown Partnership Candidate Forum.
