On February 19, 2012, at approximately 8:00 p.m. prisoner Samuel Lee Govea (DOB 02/11/90) escaped from Denver Health Medical Center. Govea was in custody and being treated for a gunshot wound to his left leg.
Govea is wanted for: Felony Escape; Felony Burglary; Felony Assault; Felony Menacing; Criminal Mischief; Violation of a Protection Order; and Failure to Register as a Sex Offender.

The Denver Sheriff’s Department and the DenverPolice Department is asking for the community’s assistance to locate this suspect.
