There was no "city team" involved in the CDOT PACT the selected the partially covered lower alternative over a year ago. The city of Denver's major contribution to the GES neighborhood has been through unrealistic "neighborhood plans" that only go on file and have no real impact on the community. If Montero and her incompetent, dishonest staff has any real concerns about the area they would address the basic health and safety issues that plague these neighborhoods TODAY. These issues include a basic lack of street lighting, exposed toxic soil with missing sidewalks and storm drains, and negligent/absent property owners. Bernie McNulty, Elyria neighborhood advocate
